City of Weyauwega, Waupaca County Notice of Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan Update Notice is hereby given that the City of Weyauwega will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 6:00 pm at City Hall located at 109 E. Main Street in the City of Weyauwega, Wisconsin. The public hearing will be held to gather public input on the Draft City of Weyauwega Comprehensive Plan 2024 Update. The Comprehensive Plan will be a tool to manage short- and long-term development, redevelopment, and preservation. It will inform stakeholders, provide direction to developers, and guide decision-makers. The 2024 Update is an addendum to, not a rewrite of, the 2007 plan. Intended to supplement the original text, it includes updated demographic data, a reexamination of plan elements, and a rewritten implementation chapter. Where a discrepancy exists between the goals, objectives, and policies of the two documents, it will be those of the 2024 Update which guide decision-making. The 2007 plan will be retained as a reference document. The 2024 Update is available for review at City Hall or on the City of Weyauwega website, https://www.cityofweyauwega-wi.gov/. Oral testimony regarding the 2024 Update may be provided during the public hearing. Written testimony may be submitted via email to bloehrke@cityofweyauwega-wi.gov.
